Already done that in the Past
source:Make Windows 7 Look Like A Commodore 64 | Windows 7 NewsSo you’ve just got your brand new PC running a fresh new copy of Windows 7, Microsoft's latest operating system. Yet you don’t like the clean UI, the aero effects and fancy graphics, it’s all just too much for you. Well maybe you would prefer something a bit more dated, I’m not talking about Windows XP, or even Windows 2000 for that matter, no I’m talking about a Commodore 64.
not sure why youd want to do this, but im sure somebody will :)
Been there, done that and don't want to go back. My first PC was a Commodore VIC20 and then "graduated" to a Commodore 64 (and then to 128).
It would be somehat more appropriate if there was a GEOS theme for Win 7. GEOS was a crude, mac-like graphical interface for the C64.
Hey I had GEOS, and it was the greatest piece of software this side of. . .whatever.
