Just got this ready for the Win 7 release?
The W-day must be soon after this?

Thanks for the info. Last time the keynote that they had, they released the beta to the technet subscribers instantly then like the upcoming friday they released it to the public. I hope they do the same for the RC

Thanks Romulinx. I reckon that means the RC won't be long after.
It is still further off than was being predicted though and I am really really looking forward to this.
I'm running 7057 and I keep toying with the thought of trying one of the later builds but I prefer to do a clean install each time and all that endless reinstalling and customizing stuff is putting me off doing it but the wait is doing my head in
If this virtual event is on May 7 that's a Thursday we might even see it on the Friday (I wish).
Incidentally I haven't investigated but I take it there is no point in ordinairy joes registering for this thing?

An informative post as usual, cheers, John
