    No.

Also look at the optional updates as these include drivers etc.

No problems here - tweaked out the way I like it right now.

I'll be sure to image the system before I load in SP1

Seems like I've joined a Microsoft mutual admiration society here! Since I moved to Win 7, my PC has stopped being a Disputer, and has become a Computer. I haven't even considered a sevice pack for 7, till I read this thread. I even have hardware from the XP era, that works fine. My PC has had 3 OS on it.

1/ XP yuk. I remember when that first came out and, I had to replace all my peripherals. Slow compared to the next two, and how it needed SP1 asap. Built my current PC with XP Pro x86.

2/ Vista Ultimate x64 - Good grief. Everythings still working.

    3/ Win7 Home Premium x64 - Heaven. Now we're cooking. Thanks Microsoft.

Once the RCs were on long enough both XP and Vista were gone except for on virtual machines along with the XP Mode. Once a new build is together Vista may return however on the present build without XP. I'll simply putting it to use there while the new build will be "7" and a few VMs!

As for system images I'll make one of those for the before and after SP1 is released. I just restore the December image to see how that came out. Everything works! It goes to show MS took a serious look at what the home user needed as well as the business consumers.
