most likely the latter as build 7077 is the escrow and also part of rc branch which was given to gold partners and others so the upgrade is likely from the escrow...
anyways it was confirmed some time ago that 7100 *is* the RC.....

heres a bit of food for thought amongst all this 7rc fever,what happened to the forum rules about not posting links to these torrent and warez sites,dont get me wrong im grateful for the links but it amused me that 7 fever seems to have got everyone hooked

One way to find out sooner or later is to run them side by side with everything identical and take notes anything seen different other then the watermarks and build numbers!

Easier than that -- I've already used Duplicate Cleaner to search for duplicate files in the x86 7077 and 7100 versions. While there are hundreds of files that are identical, there are also hundreds that have been changed.
