The difference is for $29 you get a full Snow Leopard install DVD (and 2 Apple Stickers), I just used it to install OSX 10.6 on my Dell Mini 9.

Do you think I could download SP1 and use that to install Windows 7?

In my humble opinion, the only reason Microsoft issued service packs for Vista and now for Windows 7 was to satisfy those nay sayers who insist that they would not upgrade until there was a service pack. The service pack was just a convenience created by Microsoft to handle fixing XP. Does everyone forget that Microsoft made a point of eliminating the service pack with Vista and then realised the public had been too well trained to believe in them to quit? After all, it's commerce, not art.

Bye.
