    Yanno, that is not a bad idea - instead of blinking, a nice flashing *animated* spinning orb....I like it....

    Sounds like someone needs to make said video so we can replace out boot screens with more aesthetically pleasing ones...

    Kryptonit3 - i meant in the aspect of i have a gig of ram, i am running windows 7 build 6801, while running windows 7 build 6956 in virtualbox, while running a screen recorder, all on a gig of ram, so i think it did pretty good :-P

    yes 512 mb is incredible as this is the minimum req for vista and this runs well way better than vista

    Indeed - but then again, only for a short time, as classes resume 5 Jan '09

    I went to the conference - as was supposed, they are mailing W7 Beta when it is available. *But* I won a prize for completing the survey for a 2 day course of my choosing from Wintellect (valued @ $499 USD) - so all is not lost....

    I am sure that Ch9 will have Jacob's keynote - he spent a good 10 minutes at the end on W7 alone.
