    Office 2010 Box Art Design

    Posted: 15 May 2010
Microsoft has yet to unveil the official packaging for the latest iteration of the Office System, but it appears that company partners can always be trusted to do it instead. Office 2010 is now available for pre-sale on Amazon.com, and the website features images with the retail boxes for the successor of Office 2007. In the image on the left, you will be able to see the box art for Word 2010, Excel 2010, PowerPoint 2010 and Outlook 2010. The additional images included in this article will allow you to feast your eyes on more components that make up the Office 2010 suite. (via IStartedSomething)

As you will be able to see, Microsoft has opted for simplicity with the new box art for Office 2010. The packaging for each component is in direct relation to the color style associated with the program. Furthermore, the retail-box design also features the desktop icon that customers will subsequently see as they launch the component after installing it on their computers.

As Microsoft confirmed officially, Office 2010 will be available for purchase on June 15th, 2010 for the general public. The latest version of the Office suite was released to manufacturing on April 15th, and is already offered to business customers worldwide.

I don't like it. They could have done a better job with the cover designing

I like it. Very simplistic yet professional looking. Doesn't have to be fancy, its just a box after all! Its the software that counts.
