That's precisely what happened to me when first going to download the 7000 builds and lost IE connection a few times for the 64bit edition. The immediate downloader install and process picked afterwards once the connection was re-established seeing that completed after the first two failed attempts. The 32bit fortunately kept going not seeing an interruption later.

Everytime I finish downloading the 64bit version (haven't tried the x86 version) I get an error saying the file might be corrupted, and I can only choose to either redownload or remove the file.
I've tried downloading six times now, I figured I might start asking if anyone has encountered the same problem? I'm running the 7000 build and using Firefox to download. | My System Specs

Try the direct links in the first post of the thread with IE8. copy and paste the direct d/l link in IE8's address bar. See if it completes that way without error. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Airbot 2.0 OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 SP1 CPU Core i7 920 (D0) @ 4Ghz, *26c idle *65c full load on air Motherboard Asus P6X58D Premium - Sata 6Gb/s - USB 3.0 Memory 12GB DDR3 Corsair Dominator -CMD12GX3M6A1600C8 at 1600MHz Graphics Card EVGA GeForce GTX 480 -Aftermaket Accelero Xtreme Plus cooler Sound Card ASUS Xonar D2X Monitor(s) Displays 1 LG 24" Flatron W2453V-PF 1 Samsung 24" P2450H both 2ms RT Screen Resolution 1920x1080@60hz Keyboard Logitech Wireless MK700 Mouse Logitech Wireless MK700 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case Cooler Master HAF 932 Cooling Case Fans *3 230mm, *1 140mm/CPU - *Tuniq Tower 120 Extreme Hard Drives 1 OCZ Vertex2 180GB SSD

FireFox did the same for me, switched to IE8, no issues, had it in about an hour and twenty minutes. Maybe they are less issues using a Microsoft browser (IE8).. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Black Shadow II OS Windows 7 SP1 x64 build 7601.21936 CPU Q9450S@3.2Ghz 1.232v Motherboard GA-EP45-UD3P rev 1.1 Memory 4x2GB G.Skill 8800PI@1066mhz 5-5-5-15 Graphics Card Sapphire HD7850 Sound Card X-Fi Extreme Music Monitor(s) Displays Samsung 2253LW Screen Resolution 1680x1050 PSU PC Power Silencer750 Case Coolmaster HAF 912 Cooling Corsair A70, 6x120" Coolmaster Hard Drives 320GB WD3200AAKS |

When first going to click on the download links at MS the first will automatically see the MS downloader installed. That's how they set that up there.
The downloader itself insures everything is complete when finished. Once the download is complete you will see the 100% indication and no activity with the "done" seen at the bottom using the MS downloader through IE 8 or 7 if on XP or Vista when going for it.
The 32bit RC was done the first night in about 45 minutes. It was the 64bit RC that really took all night for that! At this point depending what time of day you start the download things should go a little faster then the first few days anyways while seeing a good bolume of traffic on their servers. | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64, XP Mode(VPC and VMLite), VM Player 4.02, W8 CPreview CPU AMD Phenom II X4 Deneb 3.4 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-790XTA-UD4 Memory Kingston Hyper X DDR3 1600 8gb 1.5v Graphics Card MSI Radeon 5750 1gb Sound Card Creative Labs X-Fi XtremeGamer Monitor(s) Displays 2 x Acer P191W 19" widesscreen Screen Resolution 1440x900 native Keyboard Microsoft Recusa Razor Mouse MS Trackball Explorer PSU Corsair 750TX Case Antec 900-2 - SSD compatible Cooling Zalman CNPS9900A Hard Drives WD Black Edition 1tb Sata 6.0 = 2

I have not had any problems starting and pausing, then restarting later.
but then I do use IE. | My System Specs | | All times are GMT -5. The time now is 08:34 PM.
