anyone experience speed drop??....mine from 2.2 Mb/s drop to abt 170 KB/s ...still going down...to 100KB/s...What's up with MS servers?

I tried IDM but it wouldn't even connect to download, so I gave up and went back to my 130kb connection with the MS download manager. :| Better 130kb then 10kb I suppose :P

I think I will set up a second computer next to this one to test the official M$ download with the leaked one I am running on this computer.

True and the best way to get it for those wary of bogus torrents, I trust the hash so i will not add to the MS bottleneck.

Can some of you who finishes the download of x64 version post MD5 hash of the final RC1 so we check if its the same which was leaked few days ago or not.

You and I both know that one!

The 32bit downloads the fastest even when first going for the 7000s. The 64bit download stalled a few times after 3-4hrs. when going for that one first while the 32bit went in one try!

Presently the 64bit is at 62% due to that being the first pick for many.

As far as the download manager needed that installs first before any download will start for either or both at once to get back to raj1402 on that. Look for a new shortcut on the desktop to see if that was installed there. In case the download is interrupted for any reason you use the shortcut to restart the MS downloader again.

It's nice having changed ISPs and no longer seeing dropoffs!
