    I totally agree with you CarlTR6,

    I will never have a facebook page! It really amazes me of how many people don't even understand that there privacy is even at risk! Some people just leave everything at the default setting and never bother to look at it again!

    My opinion is, once you post something on Facebook (or any other on-line site, including this one) it is already "out there" so what does it matter? If there is something about you that you don't want out in the open, don't put it on Facebook.

    It is deeper than that. You have to give a certain amount of information when you register - information that you do not necessarily post.

    I get around it fairly simply - I don't put anything on FaceBook that I don't want floating around the Web.

    and when it comes to facebook phishing. i don't think anybody would concern about that since they were not alerted
