If I remember what I learned from economics class correctly, market capitalization is equal to the number shares times the price of each share.

While Apple may be bigger than Microsoft by looking at market capitalization, market capitalization itself is only one way to measure how powerful a company is and it's influence.

Also, this might be only temporary as what's driving Apple's market cap is the price of the stock currently which can fluctuate very easily.

It is still sad that apple (at least in one sense) is bigger than Microsoft...*turns away crying*

They can get some healthy margins on each iPad as they did on the iPhone. A better business model than Microsoft's, there's nothing more one can say...

Apple is now bigger than Microsoft. That's physically impossible. There's no way an apple can be bigger then Microsoft.

No way! Apple can never be on top of Microsoft on a longer run!!!
