While it’s true that Windows 7 has received rave reviews across the board, Microsoft has also not been shy when it comes down to applauding its latest Windows client as an excellent opportunity for customers. The latest move from the Redmond company is unveiling the 7 Wonders of Windows 7 website. Designed in Silverlight, the site offers an interactive experience focused on highlighting seven of the best Windows 7 aspects.

“Have you discovered the 7 Wonders of Windows 7 and learnt about the key features that make this a compelling release of the operating system to: make users productive anywhere, enhance security and control and streamline PC management?” asked Microsoft’s Amory Somers Vine.

If not, just head over to the 7 Wonders of Windows 7 website and start looking at the content made available by the software giant. It will be quite easy to see that the Redmond company is highlighting a number of Windows 7 features, including BranchCache, DirectAccess, BitLocker to Go, Search Federation, AppLocker and 3G Wireless Networking. At the same time, the company offers its own perspective over the seven most important innovations of Windows Vista’s successor. In this regard, end users are asked to contribute via a Q&A.

Too bad the website uses Silverlight. I won't use something that is forced upon me like that.
