I just noticed the first link is almost instant and the second link takes a lot longer to load and keeps on loading for about 10 seconds after page is visible...

    Anyone know the answers?

"Looks like the rumor that Windows 7 Beta 1 will have build version of 7000 has some truth in it, or at least the build version 6.1.7000.0 of Windows 7 does exist. Microsoft has silently made available download of Windows 7 Beta 1 DVD ISO image to selected people, independent of the Windows 7 beta participation invite.

At least one of the DVD ISO image file has the file name of 7000.0.081212-1400_client_en-us_Ultimate-GB1CULFRE_EN_DVD.iso, with the size of 2618793984 bytes (2.44 GB) and MD5 hash checksum value of f9dce6ebd0a63930b44d8ae802b63825. It’s unclear if the testers are already given product key to activate Windows 7 beta builds"

    Hello all.

If this is the file size; it's not 64-bit is it?

yeah most likely the 64 would be around 2.5<X<4.0+ (x meaning the beta ver. my guess would be 3.16 just a guess...lol)

My guess is the first release will probably be 32bit. Hopefully the x64 version will follow shortly.

They better not do that. That would seriously damage my love for Microsoft. Keeping the 32bit around is a good idea, but it is time to put the x64 release into the #1 priority spot. It should no longer always be a "later" thing.

I did a copy of his entire blog to my hard disk. There is no .ISO ... he is lying.
