Custom water cooling. What do I need other than the reservoir? are there any guides on water cooling, can i use one reservoir to cool cpu and gpu? Im still learning about this and im wanting to seriously get into water cooling and making my own reservoir...Ive seen some tutorials on how to make some and what i need how to test for potential leakage, but other than that what else do I need ? | My System Specs |

A pump, tubes, waterblocks, radiator, fans, coolant, barbs etc - basically everything else that goes a long with a reservoir
Yes, you can include your card into the loop if you wish.

Genesis4455,
Sky is really the limit. The most extreme I've seen uses a triple super radiator with six fans in push/pull configuration. The choice to separately cool the cpu from the gpu's is your's but most will link all the gpu's to cool after the liquid flows from the cpu. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number A blend of brains, brawn and dumb luck, ask me about rig #2 ! Man liquid nitrogen? Lol that would cost so much money to buy XD but thanks for the help Im going to mod my HAF 932 case and add my own cooling stuff to make it look nice just a medium size project im going to do, for the painting of the case do i need to sand the inside down to paint it black? or can i just prime it or what? Im not sure if the case uses special metal | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Amd phenom II x6 1055t Motherboard Asrock 870 extreme3 Memory 8gb DDR3 1333 G-skill Ripjaws Graphics Card Asus GTX 460 768mb Monitor(s) Displays 23" LG LED monitor PSU 700w OCZ modular power supply. You can use a large reservoir/tank and not use radiator at all. I've had a setup back then that consist of 2 pumps (one for CPU, the other for GPU) and a large clay water tank, around 250 liters of water. 2 tubes goes to each pump, and the exit tube off the device goes straight to the water. With that much water, I don't need radiator because it needs LOTS of heat to increase the water temp 1 deg C. At my friend's setup I even tested with submerged water pump, which goes VERY well and very silent also...

I wonder at what point a dedicated refrigerant like we use on our refrigerator/freeze could work....I'm sure I'm not the first to think of this.....maybe cost? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number A blend of brains, brawn and dumb luck, ask me about rig #2 !
