Filters I just came across these slick filters and wonder if any one else has heard of or are using them they are by Demciflex, just got a pricing right from the company 4.95 for the 120mm ones and I am already using a 80mm round for the Laptop almost invisible filter and they are magnetic or they have a magnet strip you use of plastic applications. I will be ordering 3 more for my desktops shortly check there web site out. DemciFlex | My System Specs |

sandman,
Damn this was going to be my idea. Sticky back flexible magnetic strips and poly screening. The classy frame surround looks much better than my idea would have. Sorry about that how about the guy on Shark Tank that invented the filter that go over you nostrils and was offered 4 mill by the one shard and he refused it and took the deal with 3 of the others for the money he needed to fill his first order plus 30% of his company and 10% profits only until they recoup there investment. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Window's 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU E8400 Lapped Motherboard P5Q Pro Turbo Asus Memory Kingston 4 gig Graphics Card 2=ATI 5670Video Crossfire / HVR2250 TV Tuner Card Sound Card HDMI sound Monitor(s) Displays Sony 46" Screen Resolution 1280x720 Keyboard Wave Combo Logitech Mouse Logitech LX-8 PSU Antec 550 Modular Case Antec Custom 180B Cooling X-1283 Lapped Artic Silver 5 Hard Drives 1 WD 160gig YS, 1 Black Edition 320gig and one 250gig WD YS Model plus external Caviar Black 640gig Drives Internet Speed 5mb down 768 up Other Info Custom side fan in case, plus moved middle lower fan to the front of hard drives , also installed a second intake fan in lower two optical drive slots. yea i have had them for like 4 months now and they are really amazing. they don't stop airflow at all but catch every little bit of dust, my H50 RAD use to be kinda full of dust build up after a few months. now with these on my case there is like nothing on the RAD even after 4 months use, well worth the money. very easy to clean and stick very well got mine here. http://www.quietpc.com/gb-en-gbp/pro...es/qpc-filters - High precision polyester mesh prevents dust build-up inside your PC case
- Keeps your PC clean and improves reliability
- All filters can be cleaned easily
- Attaches to your PC case using magnets, no fans necessary
- If the case is non-steel, adhesive frames are available separately

I have a similar 140mm magnetic filter by Silverstone and it works well. It also has holes for mounting: Newegg.com - Silverstone FF141B 140mm Fan Filter with Magnet (Black)
it is about 1/2 the price
I clean my case fan and power supply filters about ever few weeks. Usually a shot of canned air suffices. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home built (GeneO industries)/Model 3 OS Windows 7 64 bit SP1 CPU i5 2500k @ 4.5 GHz, 1.264V 124 GFlop (IBT with AVX) Motherboard ASUS P8Z68-V PRO/GEN3 Memory 16GB (4GBx4) 1600MHz G.skill Ripjaws X 8-8-8-24 Graphics Card MSI GTX 660 Ti PE/OC, 2GB 7160 MHz DDR5 clock, 1228 Mhz Core Sound Card Onboard Realtek HD Monitor(s) Displays NEC Spectraview 2490WUXi-SV Screen Resolution 1920 x 1200 Keyboard HP Wireless Mouse HP wireless PSU Seasonic X-850 (2012 KM3 model) Case Fractal Design "Define R3" Cooling CM TPC 812 push/pull, 3 120mm, 2 TY-140 case fans Hard Drives Samsung 128GB 840 Pro SSD (System), Crucial 128GB M4 SSD, 2x WD Caviar 1TB Black internal (data), 1x WD Blue 6Gb/s 1TB Internal, 1x 2TB eSata WD20EARS Green, 2x 500GB Seagate external USB, 1x 350GB exte Internet Speed 27.8 Mb/s down, 5.6 Mb/s up Other Info USB 3.0 x4 , SATA III x4, eSATA x3, SATA II x4, USB 2.0 x8. 2 Samsung DVD R/W drives.

Filters came today put the one on the side of the wife's SLK 3000b and the other two on the doors of the P-180b Antec to see how much dust it stops from getting to the filters behind the doors looks nice or better than the louvers. The case temp has not changed so i guess they are not restricting air flow. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Build OS Window's 7 Ultimate 64bit CPU E8400 Lapped Motherboard P5Q Pro Turbo Asus Memory Kingston 4 gig Graphics Card 2=ATI 5670Video Crossfire / HVR2250 TV Tuner Card Sound Card HDMI sound Monitor(s) Displays Sony 46" Screen Resolution 1280x720 Keyboard Wave Combo Logitech Mouse Logitech LX-8 PSU Antec 550 Modular Case Antec Custom 180B Cooling X-1283 Lapped Artic Silver 5 Hard Drives 1 WD 160gig YS, 1 Black Edition 320gig and one 250gig WD YS Model plus external Caviar Black 640gig Drives Internet Speed 5mb down 768 up Other Info Custom side fan in case, plus moved middle lower fan to the front of hard drives , also installed a second intake fan in lower two optical drive slots.
