Programmable LCD

Hey all, newb here, not a noob to computers

I'm building a new PC and would like to have a programmable LCD to put in my 3.5" bay. I've only seen ones that have issues or no ratings, so I'm a little leery to purchase any of those.

Any suggestions on some good ones? I'm running Windows 7 x64, but drivers shouldn't be an issue, I'll be running LCD Smartie to manage the screen.

I really like the looks of this one, but one of the reviews says no Windows 7 support.

Thanks!
Joe

I'm actually just looking for the LCD device itself. Most have really crappy software, so that's why I was planning on using LCD Smartie.

I really, really like the looks of the LIS display. How does the software that is included work with your system? Any complaints about yours?

Windows itself provided a good hardware driver, the same driver you can DL from the document-listed site.
Please take note of the USB serial port the display is using (mine is port 10) found under Device Manager as you will need to install the LIS display DLL and tell it what port you are using otherwise you will receive an error message when it tries to load.
The software from LIS is crappy (as you say) in that although it works for the Admin account, it does not with all other accounts (tech support was no help).
This program seems to function nicely, is light on resources, and allows me to set what is displayed. The plugins add good functionality.
I am using the 5.4.1 Beta version, btw.
