windows 7 OC problem

Hello my Windows 7 does not reconize my Overclock CPU-Z says all is oki but at windows it shows 3.07ghz/3.07ghz even it should show 4.02ghz/3.07ghz.

Any ways to fix it?

If you overclock from within Windows, the change won't be reflected in system properties. Your performance will match what CPUZ says.

If you want Windows to report your overclock, you need to do so from your BIOS.

i think it is to do with EIST in your bios, you can disable that, that's speedstep and
once back in windows re-run Index score or it might show up befor that.

but if cpu-z is telling you 4ghz, i wouldn't worry about windows

like right now my computer is telling me 2.67Ghz, yet i know it's @ 3.8Ghz hehe.
