Windows 7 - Good Heatsink? |

Good Heatsink? Hey.
I figured I'd ask here, since you guys would know more about cooling.
Is this a good heatsink? Newegg.com - Thermaltake Silent 1156 CLP0552 92mm CPU Cooler For Intel Socket LGA1156
The readout from HWMonitor (attached) is from after maybe 10 minutes or so of just surfing newegg. 2 hours of Portal 2 got me a max temp of 69* on cores 0 and 2, and around 62* on cores 1 and 3. I know I can do much better than that. The reviews are mostly positive on Newegg, just some issues about the installation brackets, but they're exactly the same as the stock brackets, and I've had no issues with them.
Thanks!
P.S: What thermal paste would you recommend? | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Pro x64 CPU Intel Core i5 Quad 750 Motherboard MSI H55-GD65 Memory 8GB Graphics Card GeForce GTS 450 1GB Sound Card MSI Integrated Monitor(s) Displays Ye Olde Dell LCD Monitor Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard Ye Old Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dynex Wireless Mouse PSU Antec EarthWatts 650W Case Antec 300 Cooling Intel i5 Stock Cooler (Soon to Upgrade) Hard Drives 1 Internal WD 1TB,

That depends on your intent, your motherboard and what case you have, and how much clearance you have above RAM. For instance the FRIO is heavy and big and may not fit in your case and your MB may not be up to supporting it.
The Coolermaster Hyper 212+ is also fairly large, but it is lightweight, cools very well, easy to mount, and is very low in cost.
Your temperature is rather warm for just game playing, but not all that bad. The Tcase for that processor is 72c.
I have a CM Hyper 212+ on an I7-860 overclocked by 1GHz and the maximum temperature I get is 64c with PRIME95 stress testing @ 100% CPU utilization. So you se you can get a lot of headroom there, but do you need it?

For the same price you should really look at the CM Hyper 212+; add the second fan for push pull and you have maybe the best air cooling bang for the buck available.
If you look at the review closely you should find yourself looking at that Noctua cooler they are top notch.
As for the Firo, it is probably my go to air cooler. I have a couple of them and right now it is cooling a 2600K at 4.8GHz and keeping the temps in the mid 60s while under load. Matter of fact it is the cooler I am highlighting on my current review I am writing on the ASUS Maximus IV Extreme board. Now I have the system under water but for Air Cooling it would be one of the three I mention here. You have to love the color scheme of the Frio as well as its extremely easy installation. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number My Build OS win7 Ult 64 CPU i7 3930K & 3960X Motherboard ASUS P9X79 Deluxe Memory 16GB G-Skill 2133MHz Graphics Card Sapphire HD 7970 Sound Card On-board Monitor(s) Displays ASUS 27 inch Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Mionix Mouse Mionix PSU Corsair AX1200 Case NZXT 810 Cooling Custom Loop, Swiftech HDBlock Hard Drives Crucial M4 256GB, 1.5TB WD Black for Data/Images Internet Speed Cable |

Thanks for the replies.
Going on what you guys said, and from reading the reviews, I'll look into getting the CM Hyper 212+. I have an i5 760 running 2.8 GHz. I don't plan on overclocking to more than 3.0 GHz if I even overclock at all, so I don't need a monstrous cooler (plus I'm cheap), just one that's better than the piece of junk that came with the processor. I'll get the Arctic Silver paste as well, as I'm sure that will make a difference.
I did an okay wiring job at best, so once I take it apart, switch everything out, and put it back in, I'll make sure to make the wiring as efficient as I can to let the case fans do their job as well, because the MB itself gets pretty warm. I'll do some measuring beforehand to make sure this will fit in my case, as it is quite big.
Thanks for your help, guys! | My System Specs | | OS Windows 7 Pro x64 CPU Intel Core i5 Quad 750 Motherboard MSI H55-GD65 Memory 8GB Graphics Card GeForce GTS 450 1GB Sound Card MSI Integrated Monitor(s) Displays Ye Olde Dell LCD Monitor Screen Resolution 1280x1024 Keyboard Ye Old Dell USB Keyboard Mouse Dynex Wireless Mouse PSU Antec EarthWatts 650W Case Antec 300 Cooling Intel i5 Stock Cooler (Soon to Upgrade) Hard Drives 1 Internal WD 1TB,

So I opened up the case and did some measuring. It looks like it won't fit, but just barely won't. Is there a slightly smaller unit anyone would recommend?
