Please don't take this the wrong way, but you really should read up on what you're doing and know it well before you attempt to make adjustments. Expensive board... would be a shame if you fried it.

Start with this, there are tons more just waiting for you. [Extreme Overclocking Review] Asus Rampage III Formula - XtremeSystems Forums

I do understand. And at the moment I feel kind of embarrassed but I have figured it out. I have spent a long time researching Ocing and have done a bit already, but with a gigabyte board. I found out what my problem is in the Bios. I finally looked at the right hand side description and found it to say that I have to enter a value in instead of selecting it as an option. So now I am back on track to overclocking. I am taking it slow, wish me luck. Promise to be careful, I'll post some scores here when I'm done, yea?

So I did some recommended OCing but that only goes so far. I'll need to work a little more to get better scores. Running at 2.80GHz CPU? o.0

Standard it runs at 3.07GHz, but here with 2.80GHz the WEI scores are all higher. I do notice a huge imporvement compared to it running normally. Wonder why this is, possibly because the Memory scores jumped a lot higher too? Dunno, I'm just a beginner.

Individual parts in my computer stay pretty cool, but it pumps out a whole lot of heat. the board and CPU are safe (Under 55C) at least under graphical stress. The memory have heat disappaters and a fan, but its probably only blowing hot air. The fans at the front of the case are weak, so hot air heats up the SSD. The graphics cards seem good enough, although gigabyte is having website issues atm so i haven't yet downloaded a temp reader (Don't think windows has one, and I do know there are plenty of other places to get one, but I figured I'd stick with manufacturer).

And yes, I stayed up all night playing games to test this computer. uugh. My cards are real frying pans, don't know what to do about it. Maybe buy more powerful fans for the sytem?

I wouldn't concern myself with WEI scores... they're meaningless. Also, I'm sure the cpu does better at 3GHz than at 2.8GHz.

I think so too, but from what I've done, the computer is definitely faster, a noticeable difference. I'm going to start bringing up the MHz, hopefully getting to at least 3.7. Hey, thanks a lot Fumz for the advice.
