Windows 7 - Case Hunters |

Case Hunters Originally I was out to get an 800D but considering I'm in desperate need of better gaming performance I had to forego that expense and spend the money on a 6950. Now, I'm still looking to pick up a new case with the refund I'm getting from an eBay deal gone bad (need I say more?) and my requirements are as follows:
- Must be able to accommodate a 360mm radiator internally.
- Cannot be more expensive than, say, $210.
- Must have exceptional wire management capability.
- Can be either a full or mid tower, so long as it can accommodate said 6950 and 360mm radiator.
Current things I'm looking at right now is the HAF-X and 650D.

HAF-X would be my choice, but I don't know much about the 650D.

It's definitely a good-looking case and has plenty of space for everything, and it's cheaper than the 650D. My choice is pretty much already made unless there's a case out there equally as good as the HAF-X that's cheaper. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number RX-3570[K] OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit CPU Core i5-3570K - 4.5GHz Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth Z77 Memory G.Skill Sniper 12GB DDR3-1600 Graphics Card HD6950 CrossfireX - 850/1350 Sound Card Realtek ALC892 Monitor(s) Displays Gateway FHD2402 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech G110 Mouse Logitech G9x, Saitek RAT-7 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case HAF-X Cooling XSPC Rasa RS360 Hard Drives OCZ Agility 3 90GB (OS, Games), Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB (Additional storage, Backup) Internet Speed 3Mbps Other Info Razer Vespula Gaming Pad, Razer eXactMat |

I love my p183 from Antec.
It has fair wire management, giving you space to run all your cables up the back and a separate area to hide the power supply in.
I don't know about the radiator, all its fan ports are for 120mm ones, so that might be out of you area. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Zen Productions OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU Intel i7-860 Motherboard Gigabyte GA-P55A-UD4P Memory Corsair Dominator 1600Mhz, 8-8-8-24 1.65v 2x2GB Graphics Card ATI Radeon 5770 HD Sound Card Intel High Definition Sound Monitor(s) Displays Samsung P2570HD Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech G110 Mouse Logitech MX Revolution PSU Corsair CMPSU-750HX 750W Case Antec p183 Cooling Corsair H50 Water Cooler Hard Drives Western Digital Caviar Black 500gb Internet Speed 768 mb/s |

So I'm now in possession of the HAF-X, and it's been an absolute pain in my ass. Why? With the board mounted in the case none of the expansion cards line up properly at all; they're not in-line with the slots, and if I line them up then they'll jog out of place and won't line up with PCI slots at all. Yes, the standoffs are all in the right place, and yes, everything is tightened as it should be. If I use taller standoffs like those that came with the Stacker then the board is too high and won't line up with the I/O panel -- do you see a trend here? | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number RX-3570[K] OS Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit CPU Core i5-3570K - 4.5GHz Motherboard ASUS Sabertooth Z77 Memory G.Skill Sniper 12GB DDR3-1600 Graphics Card HD6950 CrossfireX - 850/1350 Sound Card Realtek ALC892 Monitor(s) Displays Gateway FHD2402 Screen Resolution 1920 x 1080 Keyboard Logitech G110 Mouse Logitech G9x, Saitek RAT-7 PSU Corsair HX1000W Case HAF-X Cooling XSPC Rasa RS360 Hard Drives OCZ Agility 3 90GB (OS, Games), Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ 1TB (Additional storage, Backup) Internet Speed 3Mbps Other Info Razer Vespula Gaming Pad, Razer eXactMat |

A bit too late. I appreciate the link (something I ran in to earlier anyway), but I've already begun moving everything back in to the Stacker, and...well, I'll deal with this crap somewhere down the line. If you are going to return it, I completely agree with Zen00. The p183 is an excellent choice! I have the p180 but the internals are basically the same, with just a different external design. I highly recommend it. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Custom Built OS Windows 7 Ultimate x64 CPU AMD Athlon II X4 640 3.0GHz Motherboard GA-990FXA-UD5 Memory 8.0 GB 1600MHz DDR3 Graphics Card ATI Radeon HD 5770 x2 Monitor(s) Displays Acer p221w x2 Screen Resolution 1680x1050 x3 Keyboard Microsoft Sidewinder x4 Mouse Logitech Performance MX PSU OCZ Fatal1ty Modular 550w Case Antec P180 (with modded wire management) Cooling Cooler Master v8 Hard Drives OCZ Agility 3 60gb SSD
