I don't think LED's will run on sound signals to be honest with you. You'd be better off making your own sound-reactive LED strips that can plug into the wall. or, if you have a bit of spare cash, there is a product (I forget its name now), but its like 5 point surround light. it reacts to whats seen on the monitor, and changes colour accordingly, so for instance if you were getting the shit shot out of you on CoD, they would glow and flash red. (blood).
maybe someone else could give you an idea on the product name that I described.
