Got an idea for front fan intake

Hi

So I got this idea while I was having to much time on my hands that I could put in 2 fans on the front of my Corsair 800D chassi, I never use the top basket or what to call it where the cd rom is suppose to go so I tougth why not get a metal plate and mount 2 fans on it and then screw it on to the chassi using the holes that already is there as long as I remove this basket, the problem is that I got no idea what this type of "screw?" is called or how to remove it. I have read somewhere on this site what it was called but of course I cant find it again when I am in need of it.

So what tool do I need to get rid of these screwes
And what plate is best to use? I belive the rest of the case is made out of aluminium so just go with that?

Since this is my first time ever trying to mod a case im open to any type of suggestions and tips.

Image below to show the type of screw even thou it is a bit blury

It looks like a rivet to me.

yeah its a pop rivet. the ones on my phantom look similar, they almost have a "hex" in the middle but obviously cant be undone.

they should only be aluminum or mild steel so they are quite sore. all you need to do is drill them out. its not as scary as it sounds, a 3-4mm drill bit will be fine, and it will be like drilling through cheese lol.

Go very slow and when you get all the way through it the head will stick to the drill bit. Then take a hole punch and a small hammer and tap the back side out and retrieve it out of the case.

Ok, sounds easy enough. I was almost planing like to get rid of it it would be more of the rocket science part. I will see if I can get working on this asap, the other part should be fairly easy also.

Edit 1: Okay so it seems I cant but my hdd in the lower part of the chassi with a fan because for some reason I have missplaced those hdd sliders and the noctua fan I bought could not be placed there because the screwes was to big and the rubber thingies cant be pulled threw there, so I will write corsair now and ask what fans that are compatible and if its possible to order those kind of sliders
