Overclocking Dominator RAM

Hi

After reading a bit on RAM overclocking I decided I wanted to try get a bit more out of the ones I have, so far I have managed to get the speeds shown in the pictures I will post below, if I change anything on the rams right now the computer dont want to boot so right now I dont know what to change, everything in my bios is at auto, I have only changed the ram timings and nothing else, I tried increasing the ram volts but that did not help, I dont want to overclock my CPU could this be why I cant change the ram timings to anything else?

CPU
Motherboard
RAM *Ran Pime95 and got errors with that settings, changed to 7,7,6,18 and no errors*

I think I covered everything that need to be shown, but let me know if something is missing and I will add it

theres little to no point overclocking ram. you wont see any speed benefits from day to day windows use, nor in things such as gaming.

youll see a small increase in performance in video encoding but very little.

i run my vengeance ran underclocked, as at default motherboard voltage it runs at 1333mhz, when its native speed is 1866mhz, but i go 0 performance gain in any tests i tried.

Oh I tought it would help with a bit performance in games, so should I just leave at auto in the bios, that would be 1333 and 9,9,9,27 I think, should I also leave them at 1.5 volt or use the xmp profile that put them at 1600 8,8,8,24 1.65v?

well your motherboard manual will tell you the recommended voltage for your ram.

my corsair ram is stated it runs at its native speed at 1.65v, where as ive left it at 1.5v

Okay, well since I wont get any performance boost in games I dont need to overclock them at all then, so thank you for clearing that one up, going to mark this as solved now
