Good for you. You will be pleased with them, and a lot quieter too.
That's the main reason. Temps are already good, but even on low, these fans do make some noise. Gonna try them without the resistors 1st. A Guy

I'm running my NH-D14 without resistorsand can only hear my GPU. Of course, I guess the case matters too. But, they are the quietest fans I've owned. My rig is very quiet considering 1 -230MM, 3 200mm, 1 140mm, the Noc cooler and a 120mm noc in the GPU cooling chute. And it's still the quietest rig I've owned. And I forgot the 12" 6950 with 3 80mm fans
