clarification please

I've just started to over clock my CPU...from with in the CCC panel and not the BIOS....I know. My question is; when over clocking is there a direct relationship with the overclock and temperature increase. I assume so. So, due to the close proximity of the GPU to the CPU I've noticed with each overclock on the CPU that my GPU temperature increases slightly. Although GPU is still will with in its normal operating temperatures I was just wondering it this a normal occurrence.

Yes it is normal. The temperature of a processor will be some value above the ambient temperature. Increase that ambient temperature by putting something radiating heat nearby will increase the temperature of the processor.

When cooling multiple heat generating sources in a computer, the best design is to have independent air flows to cool each heat generating component. You don't want the hot air being blown of one component to cool another if you can avoid it.
