fan and heat sink brand help

ok, so we all know knctua is proly the best there is, but i dont really need the best, i just need better than good enough, with buffer room for improvement.

i was on an overclocking forum and saw this Phanteks and thought it looked kinda cool

my case theme is black and orange so thats why it grabed my attention. dont know if they are any good, i will do some research, just wanted to get some opinions from people who have more experience than me.

i remember an argument one tome that someone never heard of a brand and thats why i shouldnt have bought from them, seemed to make sence at the time, no ones heard of them, why should i buy, now that i see how big they are getting on new egg im starting to see its better to go in with some optimism and just say, well heres the comments now, heres what a good product needs, it has it, it has it, ill just return it if it is bad

Well I don't see any of the mainstream cooler reviewers reviewing it and it is pretty pricey, so it is a risk. So I guess I wouldn't buy it just to color coordinate it. I think you would be better off getting a good cooler like Noctura and replacing the fans with good orange colored ones.

Google a bit and found this site Phanteks PH-TC14PE CPU Cooler Review - Temperature Testing Results - Legit Reviews

It seem to be 1 huge cpu cooler, and going by that site it seem to perform very well even at 4Ghz it was having max 72c. But considering its size I would make sure you measure first to see that it actually fit inside your case

Well that looks pretty good and from my experience they are a reputable review site.

There aren't many good orange fans out there

thank you, and thank you, i saw the benchmark comparisons.

i actually googled this company, got back a legit review that says they have been around over 20 years and are now doing work worldwide. there is 1 new egg review, 4 stars, the 2 major cons he had where space and clearance... but youl have that with any good, big, hefty heat sink, i have a big case so it shouldnt be an issue, im looking into some low profile gskil ram to get which should also do the trick for clearance.

anyway i go i just need it to be cooler, and i will go to some extreem measures to get things color coated properly lol

if i did go with the noctua, im not sure i could bring my self to exchange the fans when i have fans that good, like i said, i dont need the best, just one of the best. i know this hasnt really earned the title yet, but im hoping with enough replys, it will then be worth overlooking if necessary, or that someone will post a link to another heat sink that is orange that may be more reputable and just as good if not better

imm gunna see what products they have, cuz if you look at the eggs, you can see for your self how they are doing 6 months later

Looks like a good case fan but is it suitable for a CPU cooler? Or are you now looking for a case fan

thats a good question, it looks like the wire mounts that the sink uses would work with these fans if i where to replace them at some point, i think the biggest question would be, doest it have enough RPM to support the needs of the heat sink, and my cpu?..
