That is very unusual. Off the top of my head I can't come up with a reason but I will investigate. Nice result tho.

Update: Just a thought...is your command rate (1T/2T) set to Auto?

I usually get a little different number every time I run it. It may depend on what's going on in the background.

Now down the road when I go with a Bulldozer I can just call back and they will work me through closer to these modules 2133 mhz potential. !
Sounds like you did it the easy way
Looks good.

What settings did they have you change?
FSB: 233MHz
RAM multi: 1:4
RAM timings, nice and tight
Command Rate: 2T
NB Frequency: 2796MHz
DRAM voltage?
CPU IMC voltage?

What did you test with?
memtest86+ hopefully.

@essenbe
Good advice.

Did you have your CPU OC'ed before the new RAM?

Settings all look good, did they just give you the RAM timings or did you work them down?
Have you tried lowering the CPU voltage?
Cool and Quiet enabled?

OC'ing is so much fun, going to have to give mine another run soon...

Yes had the quad over clocked to 4.2 but had to roll that back to 4.077. I have brought the voltage down to 1.425 and everything is stable and happy. The timings they gave me and I have joined the forum there and will investigate further tightening over time, no rush.
