Bungee, you're still bragging about that killer rig you built? Just kidding, but Solar is right. It's just a benchmark and means nothing in the 'real world'. You'll find some benchmarks are optimized for AMD GPUs and some for Nvidia. Some will recognize your CFX and some won't. In your real life usage of your computer, none of them mean anything. They are just for playing. I don't get too upset if any of them don't get the score I think it should. Just like yours, my rig will play any game out on the highest settings. That's all that really matters. | My System Specs |

Steve, Tommy,
I know you are right, but I just cannot understand why I get reasonable scores without any OC and then crappy ones with OC.
It used to run just fine with my OC'ed 8120.
But again, you are right. I'll put it to rest.
Thanks guys,

Mike Hi Mike, and welcome.
Nice rig!
Try maxing everything out in the benchmark and run it again, so results are comparable.
Cheers,

Thanks guys,
J are you running with 13_1 WHQL drivers?
reason I ask is that some 7*** series users seem to be in rapture over it
while others report that it nerfs some GFX OC-ing and tweaking apps
if you're feeling adventurous there's a 13_2 BETA (unofficial) floating about
some users are going nuts over the improvements - reporting big improvements..
you need nerves of steel to go BETA-testing with AMD, by the way
I'm sure not going to try any of these new GCN 7*** series hardware-related drivers myself
unless they're approved for earlier models by the AMD tweaking crew, that is.. NB: AMD's new driver-scrubbing utility, is causing some Windows 7 installations to go haywire
so, tread carefully with that one (- or keep a rescue-disk handy..!!) | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number benchtec, built to personal specs OS 64-Bit Windows7 Ult-SP1 CPU i7-965 Extreme Edition (8 Cores) at 3.3GHz (no OC) Motherboard BloodRage QuantumForce X58 (Socket1366) Memory 6G Corsair Dominator DDR3 - tripled Graphics Card 2xMSI AMD6870's in crossfire Sound Card Sonar(SB)X-Fi onboard Monitor(s) Displays SyncMaster P2050 20" Screen Resolution 1600x900 (widescreen) Keyboard Logitech G19 (wired) Mouse Logitech G9 Laser (wired) PSU 1000w Corsair Case ANTEC 900/2 all blue lights, etc..
