It's hard, getting used to intel again. I've had AMD for a few years, forget how intel works. This processor (i7 3770K) is unlocked, but with this motherboard (sabertooth Z77) i can't put multiplier past 36 and the turbo sets itself to enable, and it's not an option to turn it off.
i have changes made in the bios, but they're not showing when i start windows with cpu-id | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Me OS Windows 8 pro 64 bit CPU Bullbozer / I7 3770K soon Motherboard Sabertooth 2.0 Memory 16 gb - KIngston 1333mhz Graphics Card GTX580 SLIx2 Sound Card MB soundcard Monitor(s) Displays 24" LG L.E.D + 40" Toshiba Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Logitech Mouse R.A.T.7 PSU 850 Thermaltake Case Armor A90 Cooling Corsair H100, 4 - 120mm brushless fans, 1 - 200mm fan Hard Drives 2 - W.D green 1tb

i have changes made in the bios, but they're not showing when i start windows with cpu-id In bios set AI overclock Tuner to Manual, Turbo ratio to manual and ratio synchronizing control to enabled (to set multiplier to all cores). You will have to set ram frequency, timings and voltage by hand. Leave Bclk/PEG to 100.00. You overclock these with the multiplier. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built- Always under construction OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X64/ linux in VM CPU Intel i7-3770K Motherboard Asus Maximus V Extreme Z77 Memory 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3-2400 (2X4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GTX 670 SC 4GB Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Asus 24" LCD Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Logitech G500 PSU CORSAIR AX850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Custom Water Cooling Hard Drives Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 830 256GB, Samsung HD103SJ 1TB . Thanks, but I think I already have those things done. There's a place where I can change the multiplier other than the first page.
