Is there any way to manage cables without cable extenders? I have just recently finished my first custom build... an it seems to be a disaster (with the cables) and I am too poor to afford cable extenders...
My case is a Cooler Master Centurion 590
can anyone give me some advice?
I have enclosed an image of how bad my cables are... | My System Specs |

Hi there,
Although your case does not look the best for cable management, even without cable extensions you should at least be able to send a few cables from the PSU through the hole nearest to it and out again near to where they need to be. I would consider buying some cheap cable ties too and maybe tucking some of the sata cables away a little if possible. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Paulpicks Special Edition OS Windows 7 Professional 64 bit CPU i7 3770K @ 4.6ghz Motherboard Asus Z77 Sabertooth Memory 16GB G.Skill Trident X DDR3 2400Mhz 10-12-12-30 1t Graphics Card Sapphire Vapor-X HD7970 GHZ Edition Sound Card Xear 3d C Media PCI Monitor(s) Displays 27" Hanns-G HL272 LED Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Cyborg V5 Mouse Coolermaster Storm Inferno PSU Antec Truepower New 750 Case Antec 1100 Cooling Antec Kuhler 920 Hard Drives OCZ Vertex 4 128gb (OS), Crucial M4 64gb (Origin), Corsair F60 (Steam). If you have space between the motherboard tray and the back cover, run as many there as you can. Depending on the brand of PSU you have they all should be long enough To come back inside the case right where they are needed. I use Corsair PSU's and the only cable I have to use an extension on ate the ATX 8 pin cables. You can buy one for a couple of dollars. The small slots in the board are for cable ties, which have already been mentioned. I can't imagine trying to do cable management without them.I use extensions, but just for looks with the sleeved cables. It is not necessary. But here is a build with decent cable management. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built- Always under construction OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X64/ linux in VM CPU Intel i7-3770K Motherboard Asus Maximus V Extreme Z77 Memory 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3-2400 (2X4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GTX 670 SC 4GB Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Asus 24" LCD Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Logitech G500 PSU CORSAIR AX850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Custom Water Cooling Hard Drives Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 830 256GB, Samsung HD103SJ 1TB .
