GB Mods ( cheap yet effective mods )

I bought hyper tx3 which reduced my core temps a lot

previous temps ( under load )

core 1= 65 c
core 2=60 c
cpu =53 c

new temps ( under load )

core1= 53 c
core2= 48 c
cpu = 42 c

BUT the GPU (9500gt ) is at 48c without load !!

SO i am working on some mods to reduce my GPU temps , will upload the info soon !

Well i didn't cut it ........... I just caught fins 1 by 1 with plas and move em left right until the fin broke...............( 20min hardwork)

SORRY for crappy quality pics

I used intel heatsink only . The fan on it is a cheap one , used because it was easy to glue on heatsink .........

Furmark is so and so when it comes to temp and stability testing what I have heard, and if you really want a good cooler you should get something like the link bellow Asetek Puts the Liquid Cooling In ARCTIC Accelero Hybrid Graphics Card Cooler - Asetek, Inc. Its the same as corsairs liquid cooling for cpu but this is for graphic cards ^^
