Where do I get font panel components such as audio jacks or usb ports? For my custom computer I want it to have all of the proper parts in front (power, reset, LEDS, USB, audio), and I found how to do the switched and LEDs, but not usb ports and audio jacks. where do I get these? I can dissect a USB hub and wire it to a header, but a premade solution would be better.
also i'd like to install a SD (and maybe MicroSD) card reader without using a drive bay (and ideally using the same header as the usb ports). Can i find this?
thanks. | My System Specs |

Those links are for power and reset buttons, no idea if its possible to get front usb and audio if you dont take it from a different computer but I can be wrong, I havent looked for it since I use a usb extender so I have it laying on my desk and my headset goes into my sound card. But I hope the power switches is a start atleast | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel Core i7 860 (Lynnfield) Motherboard Asus P7P55D (LGA1156) Memory Corsair Vengeance 9,9,9,24 1600Mhz 1.50v 2x4G Graphics Card Asus nVidia 560 GTX Sound Card Asus Xonar DG Monitor(s) Displays Acer P235H & NEC E201W Screen Resolution 1920x1080 & 900x1600 Keyboard Ducky Shine Mouse tT Theron PSU Corsair 650 Modular Case Corsair 800D Cooling Corsair H80 with Noctua fans Hard Drives 2 Internet Speed 100/100 Browser IE10 |

I don't really want to dissect another computer to get parts for this computer... | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Apple 17" iMac MA199LL (Early 2006) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (upgrade) CPU 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo Memory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) (upgrade) Graphics Card ATI Radeon X1600 with 128MB GDDR3 memory Monitor(s) Displays 17-inch TFT active-matrix LCD, millions of colors Screen Resolution 1440 x 900 Keyboard Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 Mouse Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0 Hard Drives Hitachi 320GB HDT721032SLA360 7200RPM SATA II (upgrade) Internet Speed 4 Mbps Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials Browser Google Chrome Other Info WEI:

If you're looking for these for the case in your system specs, it looks like you already have them, or at least the cutouts for them. If the cutouts are empty of the headers and wires then perhaps something like this from FrontX would be a start. If you have the front connectors in place but need to wire them to the motherboard you'll need a wiring diagram like what FrontX has here, and then the wire itself. They also have a DIY page.
Hope this is a start. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Homebuilt OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit CPU Core i7 920 Motherboard Asus P6T Memory Corsair XMS 12GB Graphics Card Asus EAH5850 Sound Card Asus Xonar D1 Monitor(s) Displays HP 2709m Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Natural Ergo 4000 Mouse Microsoft Wireless Optical 1000 PSU Thermaltake TR2 RX 850 Case Lian Li PC-B70 Cooling CPU-Noctua NH D14, GPU-Stock, Case-Noctua 2x140, 2x120 Hard Drives Intel X25 120GB SSD; Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (1), Green 1TB (2), Green 2TB (1) Internet Speed Cable Other Info HP bd 340,

Glad to see you're perhaps getting what you need to make it work. I like Performance PCs and have gotten a lot of stuff from them in the past, they and FrozenCPU as well.
Good luck with your project. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Homebuilt OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit CPU Core i7 920 Motherboard Asus P6T Memory Corsair XMS 12GB Graphics Card Asus EAH5850 Sound Card Asus Xonar D1 Monitor(s) Displays HP 2709m Screen Resolution 1920x1080 Keyboard Microsoft Natural Ergo 4000 Mouse Microsoft Wireless Optical 1000 PSU Thermaltake TR2 RX 850 Case Lian Li PC-B70 Cooling CPU-Noctua NH D14, GPU-Stock, Case-Noctua 2x140, 2x120 Hard Drives Intel X25 120GB SSD; Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (1), Green 1TB (2), Green 2TB (1) Internet Speed Cable Other Info HP bd 340,

yeah I found pretty much everything, but there are still all the little bits that I need to find that work in acrylic cases (standoffs, screws), and I still need to finish the cutouts.
Probably going to be a little while before i make this, however. I did a price estimate and it's just over $1,100 without tax or shipping (and the case costs $104 to be shipped from Germany). This isn't too bad compared to other setups, but I still have to work it into my budget. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Apple 17" iMac MA199LL (Early 2006) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (upgrade) CPU 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo Memory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) (upgrade) Graphics Card ATI Radeon X1600 with 128MB GDDR3 memory Monitor(s) Displays 17-inch TFT active-matrix LCD, millions of colors Screen Resolution 1440 x 900 Keyboard Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 Mouse Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0 Hard Drives Hitachi 320GB HDT721032SLA360 7200RPM SATA II (upgrade) Internet Speed 4 Mbps Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials Browser Google Chrome Other Info WEI:

Shipping is a pain I know, I live in Sweden and most of these DIY items dont exist here so have to order them from USA/UK so sometimes shipping varies from 5-15 dollars which I hate but if I want that single item its better to pay and be happy I guess | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop OS Windows 7 Home Premium x64 CPU Intel Core i7 860 (Lynnfield) Motherboard Asus P7P55D (LGA1156) Memory Corsair Vengeance 9,9,9,24 1600Mhz 1.50v 2x4G Graphics Card Asus nVidia 560 GTX Sound Card Asus Xonar DG Monitor(s) Displays Acer P235H & NEC E201W Screen Resolution 1920x1080 & 900x1600 Keyboard Ducky Shine Mouse tT Theron PSU Corsair 650 Modular Case Corsair 800D Cooling Corsair H80 with Noctua fans Hard Drives 2 Internet Speed 100/100 Browser IE10 |

Yeah, though I'm not going to buy anything until I completely figure out the case.
On my first system I didn't plan things too well and ended up having to relace my case with a smaller one and get a better CPU. and I bought everything in batches so shipping was a lot more.
I plan to get everything at once this time. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Apple 17" iMac MA199LL (Early 2006) OS Windows 7 Home Premium 32-bit (upgrade) CPU 1.83GHz Intel Core Duo Memory 2GB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM (PC2-5300) (upgrade) Graphics Card ATI Radeon X1600 with 128MB GDDR3 memory Monitor(s) Displays 17-inch TFT active-matrix LCD, millions of colors Screen Resolution 1440 x 900 Keyboard Microsoft Wired Keyboard 600 Mouse Microsoft Basic Optical Mouse v2.0 Hard Drives Hitachi 320GB HDT721032SLA360 7200RPM SATA II (upgrade) Internet Speed 4 Mbps Antivirus Microsoft Security Essentials Browser Google Chrome Other Info WEI:
