Hello, benjy206 and welcome to Seven Forums. If you would, please fill out your system specs. That would help us to be able to help you. If you have a pre manufactured computer, like Dell, HP or others, the bios is locked and there is really no way to overclock. That is why they lock the bios. If you have a custom made computer, fill out the system specs and maybe someone can help you. | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Home Built- Always under construction OS Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 X64/ linux in VM CPU Intel i7-3770K Motherboard Asus Maximus V Extreme Z77 Memory 8GB G.Skill Ripjaws Z DDR3-2400 (2X4GB) Graphics Card EVGA GTX 670 SC 4GB Sound Card On Board Monitor(s) Displays Asus 24" LCD Screen Resolution 1920X1080 Keyboard Logitech G510 Mouse Logitech G500 PSU CORSAIR AX850 Case Cooler Master HAF X Cooling Custom Water Cooling Hard Drives Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 840 Pro 256 GB, Samsung 830 256GB, Samsung HD103SJ 1TB . Thanks for the reply. Yes well the one i wanted to try it on is a dell. But I have a lenovo g550 also but I don't want to try that because it's a laptop so you know yourself. So there is no way with dell then? | My System Specs | | Computer type PC/Desktop System Manufacturer/Model Number Dell / Lenovo g550 OS Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit CPU Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 @2.33GHz Motherboard foxconn g33m02 Memory 4GB DDR" Graphics Card NVIDIA GeForce 8600 GS PSU 450W Cooling Stock fan Hard Drives HDD 1 = 150GB

You can try software like setfsb. This will not increase the temperatures.but remember you can only go so far without needing to bump up voltage. | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Packard Bell iMedia 2218 -- Has Been Running For Almost 7 Years! Ok, I have done the Windows experience test, and the results were same as before overclocking. After i closed the window, i noticed that the CPU gadget was showing some weird cpu usage?!?! the percentage bar says that the processor is running @ 10-20% of full speed, while the chart shows 0-100% (see attachment). And the RAM usage went from 20-25 to 40%

If you have an amd cpu you can ise amd overdrive. If not im afraid you will have to look for less popular software overclckk tools | My System Specs | | System Manufacturer/Model Number Packard Bell iMedia 2218 -- Has Been Running For Almost 7 Years! Have you tried to push it past 3.7 i think ypu should give it a try.
