As long as the options are present in the bios, yes it can. If you haven't seen it yet this should help,

yes you can overclock the processor to get up to 3.36 but it is unstable in game play to make it stable go with 3.22 that is the setting that worked for me im running the same phenom ii x4 925 2.8 to a 3.22 also running 8 gigs of patriot ram g series viper ram hd 5770 radeon diamond card with 1750gb hd space with three seperate drives one a my book but it should run fine and you should have a auto tuner if not update the bios or go to amd .com and find your onboard bios driver

No two chips are going to overclock the same. While you can look at one chip to determine "about" what to expect, you should never go in thinking you'll be able to duplicate another persons performance, or lack thereof. What's unstable for one guy may be perfectly stable for another.

And, if I may add on to Fumz statement, the combination of your ram and motherboard (which is also goes along with what Storm13 stated -- bios options -- however, I was speaking more to your chipset) play a big role how your proc will overclock too. Don't forget that you need more than just a stock heatsink / fan too...
