As long as you watch your temps and don't raise the speeds to the point it starts causing BSODs then I'd say you have a successful overclock.

I was running a stress test with Prime95 when I saw my CPU frequency jump to 3.6Ghz! I've never overclocked before nor run a stress test and naturally was suprised to see this happen. Was this just some glitch to do with CPU-Z or did my CPU actually speed up?
