How well will my processor take overclocking

Are those quotes you have there, or have you really got your machine to 3.2? An 800 MHz OC is pretty damn good...

Overclocking can shorten the life of your CPU and other components, especially if you go overboard and go too far.

You need good case ventilation, and a very good CPU cooler to do it right. I have that exact CPU in my home server, and I will give you one piece of valuable information: You cannot trust the Core temperature reading on a Brisbane Core Athlon. There is a bug in the thermal diode reading mechanism, and it will almost always give invalid temps, no matter what program you use to monitor. Keep that in mind. My core temp jumps all over the place.

Before you OC, read, read, read, and read some more, until you know what you're doing. THEN you can OC safely.

And be conservative and do it slow and easy. I killed a Kuma Athlon (7750 BE) by going nuts and made my wife pretty upset in the bargain.
