    96accord,
That's a huge jump in GPU power, enjoy and tell us how you like it when it's running.....like we really need to ask!

Yes it's a big jump. The 9800GTX+ played BC2 perfectly fine but once I tried to play the BF3 Beta it basically said FUUUUUUUUU to me and barely played it on low

I installed the GPU/PSU/Win7 64-bit on Friday Night late and did all the windows updates. Then installed BC2 on Saturday and played a few rounds Saturday Night/yesterday. Graphics looks better but BF3 will be the real test since the graphics in that game are WAY more intense than in BC2!!

Good Morning Everyone (or whatever part of the day it is where you are at),

I have updated some of my stuff in my PC for the upcoming BF3!

I had a 512MB nVidia 9800GTX+ video card but that would not handle the BF3 Beta..

So I upgraded that to a MSi 2GB HD 6950 PE/OC (see pic below - not my pic)

Since I only had a 500w Antec PSU I figured I'd upgrade that while I was at it.

I went with the OCZ 700w Mod-Extreme Pro (see pic below - not my pic)

I also went from Windows 7 Home 32-bit to Windows 7 Professional 64-bit
yeah that is a HUGE leap forwards in graphics power, hope you enjoy it and have fun trying to push it to the max

Yeah. I wanted to play BF3 at least on medium/high setting. :) I got the GPU for like $250 after rebate and the PSU for $60/$70 after rebate

The MSi card is quiet and cool!

A very nice new GPU + PSU, 96accord. MSI in my opinion is great so you should have minimal troubles with it. I hope anyway. :)

Very nice build, Darkelk. Any reason for the upgrade to SLI? A 560Ti should be enough for most games, I would think.

Mainly because I can, I like to fiddle around and add new parts to my system. I would assume there would be benefits if I wished to sli 2 560's so I can game on max settings.
