This is a sad Black Friday. I just plowed thru all the ads that came with the newspaper. There is nothing, but absolutely nothing that merits to get up at 3AM. Maybe I will get up at 5AM and go for the free breakfeast at Sam's club - just for the fun of it. And then jump over to Office Depot to get a 16GB USB stick for $25 - that is still a lot of money but the cheapest I could find.
I don't know how good this one is Wolfgang, but it's pretty cheap, $16.99.

Centon DSP16GB-009 Data Stick Pro USB Flash Drive - 16GB at TigerDirect.com
Thank you Derek, that looks good except that I never heard of Centon as a make. But with the shipping fee and tax it is actually $25 too (I guess the tax I have to pay here too).
You're welcome, I've never heard of it either, might want to check the reviews.

Here is a list from Newegg with all their Black Friday sales.

    Newegg.com | Black Friday Deals

    Jim

See above, already posted the Newegg Black Friday sales.
I saw that other link, but the link I posted was a long list of all their sales and arranged by type such as CPU, Motherboards and so on. I found it much easier to scan and find an item. The price listed was also the final price after rebates. It looks like they are keeping this list updated since it now shows a lot of sold out items. Its a lot quicker then searching the web site.

I have three of their waterproof datasticks, and they are great, no problems whatsoever.

What size SSD are you looking for - and any particular preferences? For the OS, 40 to 60GBs would suffice (provided you do not have massive games in your program library).

And thus I continue to wait for a reasonably priced 160 gig drive.

    whs,
Dave76 has helped me by reviewing my specs and filling in the blanks between my ears. Please no comments!
It's all new too me so I am in no rush. Got a lot to learn and do some research on before I jump in. This will start from the brand, size, installation and the transfer of my stuff over to it.
I can assure you I am not a gamer! The only game I play is golf and that is done outdoors if and when my wife is feeling good.

Edit: I will be asking some stupid questions but have learned the a stupid question is one that is never asked.

If you are looking for speed, this would be it - a little pricey though: Newegg.com - OCZ IBIS OCZ3HSD1IBS1-160G 3.5" 160GB HSDL (High Speed Data Link) MLC Internal Solid State Drive (SSD)
