It is a big case, bigger than I thought, but very roomy.

    Thanks.

i know :) its still nice i like my coolermaster storm scout case but i wish i had gone for a full tower , its just that there so big i thought it might look odd in the tiny room my wife lets me use
What is the primary reason for wanting to go with a full tower case? Is it just a "bigger seems more impressive" situation?

    Since you asked.

I installed the included wheels on my HAF 932.

So now I can go run my errands and I don't have to take the van.

Take the HAF out for a spin with room for a few grocery bags.
It is safer than a SMART car and gets better mileage.

The devil made me say that!

pparks1 Has a point though in stating that this case is overkill for some. Especialy with one of these rigs he quoted. all of that could have fit fine in a mid size case for less than half the price and cooled just as well. Thats all im sure he was trying to point out. But like in real life, Some like it big and baller! Just ask all the single people with no family but have 7 passenger v8 chevy tahoes and suburbans and you always see them by themselfs! lol When realisticly they could roll in a chevy aveo or cobalt for alot cheaper.
I say if its what you want, do it! :) You got the cash to burn! Burn it! lol

The haf x insnt the classiest looking case thats for sure. It definatly has presence. Its like parking your honda beside a Hummer! .. lol. It makes My 26" moniter look tiny....But I say if size is what you want then hey go for it, even if you dont need it. IMO there isnt the PERFECT case. They all have their ups and downs. Some are sleeker looking but lack features. I went with the haf x due to the price/feature ratio. I definatly liked some of the lian cases but man over 400 for a case isnt in my buget. especially concidering that ill prolly do another built in a year or to and ditch the case with the rig and start from scratch.
I wasnt extatic with the way the haf x looked so i worked with it and modded it. Nothing too crazy and actually pretty simple mods and it turned out pretty good... Painted some white accents on the front and top around the large fans. Added acrylic side window (I didnt like the door so i cut it out... and added my own window... LOL. ) and black acrylic hhd cover. Sleeved wires. added Led tubes. Added 120 mm red led fan in 5.25 drive bays.

Its a real easy case to work with with its space. The only problem i might see for some users is that thier Power supplies cables might not be long enough to reach around the back due to its size....

For a extra clean look sleeve your psu or buy sleeved extention cables. If you want the look, its the way to go.

Btw the gpu cooler can be moved up or down to fit the video cards.

I found the HAF-X to be one of the easier cable management friendly chassis I have played with in a long time. Not as easy as the Corsair 800D but close to it.

Here are a couple pics from the review I did not the HAF-X; it was pretty cool since I had a pre-release of the retail version of the case and had to have the review publish on the official release day.

I would have removed the shroud but had to leave it on for the review; one thing that also helped with the looks was the Eco 240 radiator setup for the CPU cooling.

At the time I put this setup together I had an i7 930 OC @ 3.8.

We put together a pretty sweet review of the ECO 240 so take a look here.

I shipped the HAF off to a good friend in PA since I have so dam many nice cases laying around the house.

Guess I need to update my system specs I see they are all out of wack now. LOL

It must be nice to have a vast amount of choices just laying around the house... lol... lucky! ...
That is a good review. thanks...
I want to pull the trigger but im just not that sure...
my i7 930 @ 4.0 idles in between 38 and 41 depending if my house window is open. (so ambiant between 19-22) and load seems to be 71 avg 74 peak.
This is with coolermaster v6gt and 24hour prime95 test

the review 920 vcore was up to 1.38 for 4.0 @67c
    Myn 930 only needs a vcore of 1.225 for 4.0 @74c
Im wondering if id see more gain than the review did... ?

Well i guess its just a chance that ill have to maybe take... lol...

thanks for the review link tho dude... appreciate it...
