Yeah, I was just confused cause when googled I saw 2 version of it... And different one for AMD.

About PSU, I was thinking about Seasonic S12II 620W, What do you think?

Still looking for good CPU Air cooling, not just a simple fan...
    and good case fans.

Also should I let the upper fans flow the air out or in?

Seasonic is a good company with a good rep for power supplies. As to what I think???? You should Google the part for reviews. Again, that's why I provided the links.

As for PC cases, most modern cases with fans are already configured to draw the air out of the top so there's really no need to reconfigure them other than maybe adding the optional fans some tell you about.

What it all comes down to is dollars and research - i.e. reading reviews and deciding if you want to pay the asking price for said item.

I can provide suggestions, but you have to do the research. Perhaps you could provide a list of potential items and the members here may comment on them?

    My two cents.

@LordBob isn't water cooling a lot of hard work and keeping up with changing the water and making sure leaks aren't presenT

I figure it is like any other device or tool that can possibly cause alot of damaged if defective I would be worried about leaky hoses and water spilling inside the case

I know it has been tested many times but I feel that is kinda dangerous pro or not

I would like to know your stand on that LordBob cause you yourself have came through with some spectacular views on what should and shouldn't be

Thanks for the reply and knowledge on the subject because this is foriegn to me
Thus my statement about using a non-conductive liquid...

The only difference between the standard and AMD version is aesthetics.

Good quality. (Seasonic build most of the Corsair PSU's too. )

    Out.

As for case fans themselves, I don't have any recommendations as they are one component I haven't bothered keeping up to date with.

This should give you a starting point.

I just skimmed through your other thread and between a decent PSU and a new case, I think you'll find your problems will disappear.

If you are still hell bent on watercooling though, I'd opt for a full tower (like the HAF 932/X) instead of a mid tower.

By the time you add a pump, reservoir, radiator, Tubing (the complete watercooling setup basically) that 922 is going to feel awfully cramped.

No need to apologise mate :)

There are plenty of us here who have both first hand and theoretical knowledge. The common factor is that none of us knew everything (or know everything) and have had to start from scratch.

    r5r4y,
May I just add that by coming back here to this forum often and looking around and asking questions as you have you will close the gap quickly and learn a ton. The advice here is consistently good and if someone offers less than ideal advice they will get politely called out, just as it should be done.
Good luck to you and a cool case is a happy case. Start there and with a good PSU and then see where you stand and I would advise going high end air or sealed water cooling but that's just me.
    Cheers,

    Hi,

There is already been given a lot of good advice here, but here's what I know.

If you are looking for a case with great air flow, the HAF (stands for High Air Flow) from coolermaster is a great choice. Especially the HAF-X it's the newest case of the HAF line and has the things that were missing from the other HAF cases like air filters, usb 3 and better cable and air routing options. Cable routing is also very inportant for good airflow. I myself have the Corsair 800D, it's great for watercooling but for only aircooling it misses a bit of air intake.

If you want to go with watercooling, the best thing (as mentioned) is to go with parts you selected yourself. A fully watercooled system can be pricy though, and you have to read up on it alot to make the right choices. Here's a great site about watercooling: Skinnee Labs | Home As for maintenance and leaks, if you leak test for 24 hours after you build the system and there are no leaks the chances you get one after that are pritty slim. If you use distilled water without additives and colors that can clog the system and a kill coil against algea it is quit maintenance free. I have a watercooled sytem and the only thing I did in a year was to top off the distilled water.

If you want to have better air cooling for you're CPU two of the best coolers at the moment are the Prolimatech Megahalems or the Noctua NH-D14. Another options is to go for a pre-sealed watercooling like the Corsair H50/H70 or Coolit Eco/Domino.

For a better PSU (as mentioned) Seasonic and Corsair are good choices, also a good choice is a modular PSU like the HX/AX series of Corsair. You only use the cables you need and less cables in the case is better airflow. Here's a site that can calculate roughly the PSU wattage you need for your system: Enermax Power Supply Calculator

If you look at fans for your case (a good airflow case like HAF-X will have enough of them already) the general rule is the higher the RPM the higher the flow but at high speeds they can become very noise so you have to look for the balance between how much air they will shift and the noise (DB) they make.

Also if you look at a case and the airflow it has or you want to create, its best to have a little bit more air going in then out of the case so you create an over pressure in the case and there is not much dust sucked into the case what is bad for cooling also.
And always use dust filters for intake fans.

Hope this helpes a bit and good luck with your choices!
