    I would certainly trash that Intel H/S ASAP. But I see you already have a new one on the way.

    well, the noctua i ordered was for a mobo with built in backplate. a piece of information that i didnt know anything about. so, i actually have the NH-U12DX, which will be a NH-U12P (minus a fan) once i get the mounting kit from noctua. the kit was free vs 15% restock fee and 12 dollars shipping to get a refund on what i ordered. the cooler will line up with my case fans nicely so i think ill be fine missing one fan. precision has me at 90c at load playing cod4 all maxed out. sounds like a tornado!
