    Question on Fans

What is the difference in a LED fan and a UV fan? Looking at the pictures they appear the same. Thanks,

I found this searching other forums :)

Uv light sources dont produce anywhere near the strength (brightness) of standard LED's , you need a fair number of them and a lot of nice uv reactive fans , cable sleeves etc to really get the benefit . and the light strength washes out a lot when there are other light sources (best effect in a dark room )
The LED fans will put out light, but it looks like the UV fans on that link wont put off light, but will just be UV reactive to a Ultraviolet light in the case.
LED fans have LED lights, but the plastic fan casing is simply clear plastic and does not react to UV rays and simply lets the lighting through.

UV reactive fans also have LED lights, but the plastic glows a certain color from UV rays instead of just letting the light pass through.

Mainly the way they look, simply aesthetics for the most part.

The fans are probably the same, it's the 2 different light sources
