HAFX Front Fan
Can I add 200 mm fan on the HAFX front side instead of 230 mm if the included fan goes faulty?
Any idea?

Anand

I'm thinking you have to mod it to get it to properly fit. Not sure though. And why are you worrying about a premature failure?
Yes, the 200mm fans fit. I had trouble finding the 230mm fans that came stock, so I bought the CM 200mm fans.

Hmmm, I just did a Google for 230mm fans. Didn't realize they're hard to find
Wow - Google
Well, I did find one here.... Cooler Master (R4-SVS-07AK-GP) Ultra Hugh 230mm fan with High Air Flow and Low Noise- This Fan is OEM and NOr Retail Packaging but their out of stock.
Good to know a 200mm will work. Thanks.
Unless the front area of the HAFX has been drastically altered from the 932 - you can fit 2 x 120mm if you so wish.
That's good to know; though I wouldn't want to do it due to noise concerns. That's me.
I live in extreme hot conditions. My room temp is between 30-40 celcius espcially duing March - April summer time.
How much temp in celcius I can expect for the below config if I use CM HAF X cabinet
Corei7 950 - No OC
Asus Sabertooth - 6 GB RAM - 1 TB X 2
Nvidia GTX 460 1 GB (Only one)
Any approximate figures?
That's really hard to say because there are other factors involved - Ambient room temps, CPU Cooler, CPU Clock speed, Voltage settings, etc...
Anyway with my ambient room temps averaging 77F (25c) and my CPU overclocked from 2.80 to 3.52 gigs I'm averaging 71c load, 40c idle. See my system specs.
