    Wrong info displayed

I have a small issue, I overclocked my CPU a little bit by using the Bios.

I'm VERY new with this but why doesn't my new cpu frequency show correctly under "my computer"

It however does show correctly with CPUID as you can see on the right.

    Hope someone can help.

    Regards

Both are showing the correct frequency in their context. The first image shows the frequency as the rated value, which is stored in the ID of the CPU. As such, all processors rated at 3.2GHz will report this figure, regardless of the actual speed they are running at. The second shows the actual speed of the CPU at that moment in time. This may be higher or lower than the rated frequency, and may vary according to system load and demand.
