I was just wondering because this is my first time overclocking!
Is it safe to overclock the Intel Pentium D 820 to 3.40GHz
I have 450w PSU ,2gig Of RAM 3 fans and a system blower

It's safe if you know what you are doing.
I wouldn't overclock using the stock heatsink and fan though.
I have taken a look at the case temps and cpu temps
the case temp is 40 degrees and the CPU is at 45 degrees

you need to run this program and see what your cpu temps hit before you attempt to over clock,

Thanks for the link but I will try it tomorrow as I live in London and the time is 10:00pm
Ps: I think that the temp for the CPU was around 35 degrees
