Hi, I have a core2quad Q6660 and a gigabyte mobo.
I used to be able to overclock my CPU with Gigabyte's easy tune 6
But now it doesn't work anymore with Win7 SP1
On start there is a message "CPU or memory not supported.
If I try to OC manually on the BIOS it always fail
Default is 233x9 = 2.4GHz
I try 8x400 = 3.2GHz
I have no idea why it doesn't work
Is there another software which could help me overclocking please?

Overclocking is a really delicate thing, i suggest you read a lot about it before touching anything in you BIOS that could potentially hurt or even brick your PC parts.
Check this link and see if you have the latest version (Intel) and if you don't, download it. i highly doubt that SP1 could be causing the issue.

Don't use an in OS tool to OC, you need to do it from BIOS. Boot into it, and bump up the FSB by about 5MHz increments, and stability test it for a few minutes after booting into Windows before going back to the BIOS to bump it up more.
When it gets to the point of BSoD (should have a 127 stop code), add voltage to the CPU, again in very small increments around .05 volts. You need to watch the temperatures of your CPU while you stress test, because as soon as you start to add voltage, the heat will increase VERY fast.

I don't really want to spend days rebooting every second testing if such setting will be stable or not. I need a tool to easily overclock automatically with safe settings. Or at least a guide for a core 2 quad q6600
I used to be able to easily and safely overclock from 2.4 to 3.2GHz with Gigabytes easy tune 6. After updating to SP1 the overclock was no longer working with old version of easy tune 6 and latest version of easy tune 6 doesn't support my CPU anymore.
I just gave you a guide on overclocking. If you don't want to follow it, don't overclock.
I don't say that to me mean, but you put your hardware at risk. If you don't know how to over clock properly, you shouldn't be overclocking at all. Those "tools" that overclock for you aren't trusted by overclockers for a reason.
However, if you remember your settings, it should be easy enough to manually overclock your CPU to match what you had before, though again make sure the voltage and heat are as low as possible.

I would steer clear of Easy Tune 6 : I tried it long before SP1 and found it to have a mind of its own.
This is probably not what you want to hear, but that is what it takes to successfully overclock to any significant amount. If you don't have the patience I would suggest you not overclock or upgrade your processor instead. You really can't trust auto overclocking, whether it is auto in BIOS or windows.
That's because it just sets a general blanket setting for a given clock. The problem is is that not all processors, MB, and RAM use the same settings, even if they are identical. What these software overclocking tools tend to do to "insure" a successful overclock is over-volt/over-tweak settings.
In the end you get an overclocked processor as the expense of high temps due to too much voltage being applied.
Overclocking is about pushing the boundaries of performance while minimizing heat. That's where the "spend days rebooting every second testing if such setting will be stable or not" come into play..... and the payoff is.
Most overclockers don't use software programs for overclocking for the very reasons I mentioned above. We tend to understand that manually setting things provides the best performance to heat balance.
I see plenty of post about people saying their rig is at 4+gigs. That’s nice….. how’s those temps under load???

You are right about one thing, this isn't what I want to hear.
I don't know anything about OC, yet I want to be able to OC at 3.2GHz like I used to with Easy Tune 6. Easy Tune 6 doesn't work anymore for some reason (I suspect the SP1 since I didn't change anything else) but I can still OC on the BIOS.
The Q6600 is a popular CPU and I am sure someone can tell me how to adjust clock, the multiplier and the voltage for running a safe 3.2GHz

I don't think you fully understand. Overclocking is LITERALLY an individual process. You CANNOT just copy someones settings and have it work. Yes, it is possible it will, but more likely it won't.
The reason for this is that CPUs are made in batches. Each batch generally gets the same settings, but even within this batch, each chip is unique. One chip in the batch may be able to get a 100% OC, while another can barely hit 10%.
Overclocking is a delicate process that should ONLY be done through the BIOS by hand.
