Re-seat your 20/24 pin ATX power supply connector to the MB. Check for the proper connection of the Power ON/OFF switch wire to the correct MB header pins.

Sometimes I have reversed the Power switch with the reset switch
That's my problem right there Well, I really hope it is. Anyway, I haven't connected my power, USB ect. I'm really sorry if I wasted your time xD I just hope I don't run into any other problems. Again I'm sorry, but I'm new to this stuff

We all learn by Trial & Error testing

I guess I could use some help with this...
I have 2 Audio modules, one is HD Audio and the other is AC'97. I don't know which one to use.

AC 97 may work, but HD Audio would be preferable. Is it Realtek, Sigmatel, or??

I'm not sure, it may be Realtek. How can I find out?

Where and how did you get it? Did it come with your motherboard? Right click the file and look at the properties. If it came with your motherboard, I'd install it.

I'm talking about the front panel audio connectors

HD audio is likely to be superior. See if you get any sound from those jacks.

The recent Gigabyte MB I just installed says this:

The front panel audio header supports HD by default. If your chassis provides an AC'97 front panel audio module refer to the instructions on how to activate AC'97 functionality via the audio software in Chapter 5 .

The cable couldn't reach that far so I plugged in AC'97. Just out of curiosity, what's the difference between the two.
