If I am not mistaken, the boot script from this site measures the time to shut down, post and load windows. The bootracer only starts when the loading windows screen appears. Good scores on yours. This is the scores on my 80GB G2.
for comparison.

I didn't read the rest of the thread since I have to run, but this is a bad idea since parts can come down in price so it's not best to invest in parts one at a time.
Best to set the money aside and buy all at once.
Only time to buy a part early is if there is a really good deal on it.

Zepher is right. Buy it all at once.

Another reason to buy all at once:

If you buy one piece at a time, you might have new but defective parts sitting on the shelf and not know it because you cannot test them by assembling into a full working system.

Stockpile your money and then plunge when the money is there and your research is complete.

Can I install Icon Packs designed for Build 7600 on to Build 7601?
Can I install Icon Packs designed for Build 7600 to Build 7601? An Icon Pack was saying install on to 7600 only and after I checked my regedit, I learned that I have 7601 (Probably SP1, I don't know). Would I have any problems if I install the icon pack? Thanks.
