    Couple of questions


    Hello,

    The thermal paste on my H70 does not seem be performing as well as it was. Can anyone suggest a could thermal paste to use.

    Also a good fan controller for my 6 fans

    Don't use so much of it, its there to fill in the tiny gaps.
    Remove what is on there and apply a very small amount.

    I use artic silver heat sink paste...as for fan controllers no idea really...don't use them

    I know what its for and how much to apply but the stock H70 has seemed to have simply gone.. I was getting 19c-20c on idle but now getting 29-32c idle :s.

    My stock H70 paste is still going strong but when I need to change it or any other time I build,fix,move...ect. I use Arctic Silver 5.

    Actually you have no idea if it's (TIM) is gone unless you remove the cooler, once you do that you then must remove and reapply the TIM. If you haven't removed the cooler plate then I suspect the TIM is fine but the radiator had dust in it and the fans also are dusty. Please try blowing air through and cleaning first then get back to us with temps. I blasted my H50 in Push/Pull after 5 months and the amount of dust was impressive. We forget that computers are wonderful room air cleaners ! lol
