    Is it safe?

I would like to know is it safe to set the CPU multiplier from 13.x to 15.5x on an AMD Athlon 64x2 5000+ Black Edition. You can see my system specs if you click on "My System Specs" button under the post ( for 7forums noobs ). Sorry if i didn't post enough info, i'm kinda new to this.

Probably not. That's a fair jump from 2.6 GHz to 3.3 GHz in one go. Be better off going up 0.5 at a time on the multi and checking for stability till it either won't boot or crashes in Windows, then bump up the voltage a notch.

Might want to give this a read before starting,
